Built with OE equivalent components and processes, Delphi’s aftermarket turbochargers offer garages a cost-effective, high-quality alternative to OE parts

Gillingham, UK. Delphi Product & Service Solutions is launching a new range of replacement turbochargers that will help garages and engine specialists grow their businesses in line with the rapidly rising number of turbocharged cars and light commercial vehicles entering the independent service sector. An increasing number of new petrol engines and almost all diesel engines are now turbocharged, allowing vehicles to be fitted with smaller, more efficient and greener engines without affecting their performance. All Delphi turbochargers are designed and manufactured to Original Equipment (OE) standards to ensure original performance and durability is achieved. Each unit meets Delphi’s high quality standards and undergoes comprehensive testing and calibration process.

The global market for light duty vehicle turbochargers is set to increase by 108% by 2020; this trend reflects the ability of turbochargers to improve both thermal efficiency and engine specific output together with improved performance and economy. “The global demand for turbochargers is rising fast, there are many key market drivers, mainly tightening regulation governing emissions, increased fuel efficiency and rising popularity of direct injection diesel and petrol powered cars,” said Chad Smith, Vice President Delphi Product & Service Solutions, EMEA. “The downsizing trend can be witnesses across the industry and is fuelling demand for turbochargers. Turbocharger penetration of diesel powered vehicles has been at high levels for many years, the downsizing trend is now boosting demand for turbocharged petrol applications. All of these vehicles represent a significant and growing opportunity for the independent aftermarket specialists.”

The new Delphi aftermarket portfolio includes both wastegate and variable geometry turbochargers, covering a wide range of European and Asian applications. Built with OE equivalent components and processes for proven performance, reliability and durability, Delphi’s aftermarket turbochargers offer garages a cost-effective, high-quality alternative to OE parts. Every turbocharger undergoes a strict testing and calibration process which includes dynamic balancing, flow testing and calibration of the actuator assembly. Each unit comes with a 24-month unlimited mileage warranty as standard and a free fitting kit.
